GIS:

  • Design, planning, implementation, customization and training
  • Geospatial data collection, acquisition, creation, analysis, management, visualization and presentation
  • Spatial database design and data modeling
  • Web mapping (story maps, dashboards)
  • Predictive modeling and viewshed analysis
  • Cartography for reference, project planning, analysis, exhibition and compliance reports
  • Comply with federal (NPS, BLM, DOD) and state (SHPO) regulatory standards (NHPA- Sec. 106, Sec. 110, NEPA- EA, EIS) for cartography and spatial data (metadata and format, SDSFIE) and meet FGDC CSDGM and ISO 19115 metadata standards

Remote Sensing:

  • Processing, analysis and visualization of airborne and spaceborne imagery:  single-band, multispectral, hyperspectral, radar (SAR), lidar
  • Imagery analysis: visual interpretation, contrast enhancements, thresholding, density slices, band ratios, band combinations, vegetation indexes, classifications,  principal components analysis, tasseled cap transformations, filtering, polarimetry, land use/cover change detection, feature extraction, terrain analysis
  • Application of aerial and satellite imagery for archeological research, planning, monitoring and management
  • 3D laser scanning of structures and sites

GPS:

  • Field data collection
  • Data processing and correction
  • Customization / data dictionary

Photography:

  • Small format SLR/DSLR (Olympus, Ricoh, Fuji systems)
  • Architectural photography

Historic Survey:

  • Historic maritime research / watercraft surveys
  • Underwater preserve planning, archaeological park planning
  • Historic architecture surveys (reconnaissance and intensive) for NHPA Sec. 106 and Sec. 110 compliance; SHPO standards- Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Ohio
  • Historic bridge surveys
